The study sought to establish the influence of board functions on the performance of Kenyan county governments. A descriptive cross sectional survey design was adopted. The target population comprised of the 44 county governments in Kenya and the County Service Boards formed the unit of analysis. The study results established a positive relationship between the board function and the county government performance.
