    Abstract
Water and sanitation access is a major challenge in Kenya and other lower and middle income countries across the globe. Meru University of Science and Technology is committed to address this issue through the Sanitation and Research Institute (SRI), that has come up with a solution; The Black Solider Fly (BSF) that converts fecal waste into usable resources.
